The City of Hamilton exceeds Housing target, receives $17.5M from Government of Ontario On March 22, the Province of Ontario recognized the City of Hamilton for exceeding the 2023 provincial housing target, with 120 percent of the target achieved in 2023. Government of Canada support will help produce affordable housing solutions


More affordable (modular) housing coming to Hamilton with the support of the Government of Canada The Government of Canada announced a $2.5-million investment towards the growth of BECC Modular, a manufacturing company providing turn-key modular homes for affordable housing projects and commercial properties. BECC Modular is coming up with innovative and affordable solutions to increase Canadian housing inventory. Through this investment, BECC will adopt more efficient steel frame manufacturing capabilities for modular home construction. City of Burlington secures $21M for Affordable Housing


More Affordable Housing heading to Burlington! On January 15 the Government of Canada and the City of Burlington announced a $21 million agreement to encourage more affordable homes for Burlington, built faster. The announcement was attended by the Honourable Minister Karina Gould, MP for Oakville North – Burlington Pam Damoff, Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward and Deputy Mayor of Housing, Burlington Ward 4 Councillor Shawna Stolte.
