The HHCA’s Young Leaders Group (YLG) is a key contributor to the association’s activities. Open to employees of member firms under the age of 40, the aim of the YLG is provide a safe and supportive forum for the next generation of construction leaders to connect, learn and grow.
Our YLG has developed their own programming priorities with a focus on both social and educational events. Their flagship series is the quarterly YLG Talks – breakfast events featuring two speakers covering technology in construction and soft skills. All YLG events (educational and social) are open to all member companies, and we encourage all members to attend.
Community minded, the YLG regularly supports two important charities, Hamilton FoodShare, hub of the emergency food network in Hamilton which supports both local foodbanks and hot meal programs, and Threads of Life, an organization dedicating to supporting families following a workplace tragedy.
