The HHCA hosted our annual Golf Day at Heron Point on August 13th with a nearly sold-out tournament. The winning foursome was Masters Insurance (Hamilton) with golfers Will Corby, Slater Doggett, Mike Gross and Jake Corby who won with a score of -12! Congraulations! Doug Corby and his team from Masters Insurance was the generous team sponsor along with their Hole-in-One challenge. Since Masters Insurance won the same challenge they sponsored, they will be "paying it forward" and have donated their prizes to a fundraiser that benefits childhood cancers but will keep their trophies and bragging rights!
A thank you also goes out to our competition sponsors! Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company for sponsoring the Men's Closest to the Pin, Roque Roofing for sponsoring the Women's Closest to the Pin, L.J. Barton Mechanical sponsored the Men's Longest Drive and Aon sponsored the Women's Longest Drive. Thank you to all our members who also contributed to our prize table!
Thank You to our Major Sponsors!
WIC: Huddles & Heels & 9 & Dine
The HHCA's Women in Construction (WIC) attended the Tiger-Cats Huddles & Heels event on August 21st at Tim Hortons Field and had a fantastic time! Rob Hitchcock and Mike Morreale taught the ladies some football 101 and later applied these skills on the field. We have some photos from the event below and a collage submission from Dan Lawrie Insurance Brokers as well!
The next WIC's event is a 9 & Dine on September 16, 2015 at Copetown Woods with the Hamilton-Halton Homebuilders Association ladies. Limited spots are available for this event. Register here!
Structural Steel Components go 3D!
